Wandi the Dingo

Dingos are a vulnerable species, so we need to save them before they become extinct. Farmers are setting up poison and traps to kill them every day. Terrible hunters are hunting dingo to extinction so we must protect them. There habitats are being destroyed make way for farmland and buildings. Dingos help our native wildlife, they eat feral cats, foxes and other feral species. They are apex predators, which means that they are at the top of their food chain. Dingos are so special to our land, they are part of our history. Their population is decreasing rapidly and we must act now to save the Dingos. A bit about me: My name is Izzie, i am almost 10 years old and after moving schools earlier this year I have found a new love for art thanks to the encouragement of my teacher Miss Werner at Kirrawee Public School.
