Entering the competition
- Wild at Art is open to children aged 5 to 12. Entries are made by a parent, guardian or teacher on the child's behalf.
- No. Entering Wild at Art is completely free.
- Each child can submit one artwork. If you look after several children, you can enter each of them separately. Alternatively, several artists can work on the same piece and submit it together under the group category.
- Upload a clear photo or scan of the artwork as a JPG, PNG, or HEIC , with a maximum file size of 10MB.
- Yes. Sign in as a teacher and you can add multiple students and their artworks in one place, then submit them together.
- Yes. Artworks must be created by the child themselves. They can use any materials they like, but the work needs to be their own. No use of AI tools are allowed in the competition.
- Eligibility is based on the postcode on your profile, which we match to an electorate. That's how we group entries for regional prizes. Forwarding an artwork to your local MP is a separate, opt-in choice you make during submission.
- Yes. As soon as your entry is submitted you'll get a confirmation email. If you don't see it, check your junk or spam folder.
Your account
- Sign in with the same email address you have in previous years, fill in any missing details, and your previous entries and drafts are linked automatically. Nothing is lost.
- Make sure you're signing in with the same email address you used before. You can reset your password if needed. If you're still stuck, email our technical support below and we'll help you get back in.
- You will be able to edit or withdraw your entries until the competition closes on the 10th of August.
After you've entered
- After submissions close on the 10th of August, judging begins. Results are announced after a thorough process of shortlisting and consideration, we'll email everyone who entered, so keep an eye on your inbox.
- Your uploaded image stays with us for the competition. Selected artworks may be shared as part of Wild at Art, see the terms and conditions for details. You can contact us to request deletion of your image after the competition if you wish.
- During submission you can choose to forward your child's artwork to your local federal Member of Parliament - we match your postcode to an electorate to do this. It's a way to show local representatives what young people care about for the environment. If you turn this on, we share the artwork with your child's first name and age only - no other personal details. We won't forward an entry to your local MP unless you choose this option. Separately, by entering you agree that ACF may feature entries in its wider advocacy and communications, as set out in the Terms & Conditions. If you have any concerns, please get in touch.
