The Green Carpenter Bee

My artwork is about Green Carpenter bees. It is known as the biggest and the most beautiful bee in Australia. They only live in Australia. They would love the decayed branches, because they can build their house in it. Most of them are living on the Kangaroo Island. I chose this kind of bee to paint because I love the neon green color of its body, and it makes them look like little peacock! They have a really loud sound when flying and will be shiny under the sun, so I feel really cool. Also I think they are helpful for collecting honey, and I feel happy for the flowers because they have such a nice helper. However, these pretty bees are going to extinct. There are less and less of them alive because people destroy their homes. I think we should all do something to protect them from disappearing on the world!
