I chose the Wollemi Pine because it is a very special tree from Australia. It is called a “dinosaur tree” because it has been alive for a very, very long time. There are only a few of these trees left in the wild. They can be hurt by fire, diseases and climate change. I want people to love nature and help protect special plants. If we take care of them today, they can stay alive for children in the future.
