The curious Tasmanian devil

for the Tasmanian Devil

Endangered

By Charlotte, age 10

My family and I went to Tasmania to celebrate my birthday. The most exciting moment of the trip was seeing Tasmanian devil. It inspired me to create this artwork because I wanted to remember that special moment. Despite its name, it isn’t a scary animal at all. It is a unique Australian animal that that lives only in Tasmania and the world’s largest carnivorous marsupial! I wanted to show its curious, gentle side and remind people that it is an amazing important Australian animal and it deserves to be protected.
