Tasmanian Masked Owl

for the Masked Owl

Vulnerable

By Evie, age 7

I chose the Tasmania Masked Owl because I love that they come out at night and they can see in the darkness. I did lots of fur by using different paint brushes. On the wing I made it look like Indigenous paintings with the brown flicks. I did the background black because the owls come out in the night. I was interested because the mask has a heart shape so I did lots of layering of different coloured paints so it stands out.
