Sydney Hawk dragonfly in Sydney city

for the Sydney Hawk Dragonfly

Endangered

By Adela, age 9

I chose this name because I live in Sydney, and when I saw the word ‘Sydney’ in it, I got really excited! I wanted to take a photo that showed two things I love — the old, beautiful buildings in my city, and a tiny dragonfly. I think it’s amazing how the buildings have been there for so long, but the dragonfly only gets to fly around for a little while. It made me think about how something so old and something so small and quick can still look beautiful together, in the same place, at the same time.
