The Colourful World Around Us

I painted three beautiful Australian native flowers: the Waratah, Sturt’s Desert Pea and Grevillea. Each flower has its own special shape and colour, showing the wonderful diversity of Australian plants. I painted them together to create a colourful and lively garden. Birds and bees come to collect nectar and carry pollen from one flower to another, helping new plants grow. Every plant, flower and animal depends on one another. They live together in harmony and help keep our environment healthy, balanced and full of life. However, land clearing, weeds, herbicide spraying, frequent fires, climate change and extreme heat are threatening these flowers and the natural environments where they grow. These flowers represent resilience and biodiversity. If we lose them, the colours of nature may slowly disappear, and the world may become grey and silent. Nobody would like a world like this. I hope everyone will appreciate these unique native flowers and join me in protecting them. We can all do our part to keep our world healthy, full of life and rich in colour.
