Save the Eastern Quolls
for the Eastern Quoll
EndangeredBy Amy, age 12
The animal I chose was the eastern quoll (dasyurus viverrinus), it is native to Australia, specifically Tasmania and only has around 10,000 of its kind left, which is classified as endangered. I chose it because I think it looks really small, cute, and fuzzy, it also has an interesting distinctive body shape with small white spots. In my drawing, there are 2 eastern quolls, along with probably many others, trapped in one of Australia's most deadly and common natural disasters for animals, bushfires. With nowhere for the eastern quolls in this bushfire to go, it could probably decrease at least 20% of the eastern quolls population. Causing them to sadly go extinct soon.
