Protect the Black Cockatoo

Look at my picture of the beautiful Black Cockatoo! See how parts look blurry and see-through? That’s because these birds are fading away and endangered, meaning they could disappear forever. It’s mostly our fault. The biggest problem is habitat loss—we cut down old trees to build cities, taking away their homes. Another big issue is climate change. Extreme weather and scary bushfires destroy forests and make it hard for cockatoos to find seeds and fresh water. This makes me sad, but we can fix it! First, protect and plant trees! Trees are animal apartments. We can plant native saplings in backyards and schools. Second, share space. We shouldn't clear every forest—let's leave big green areas just for wildlife. We are Earth's protectors. Let's save wildlife before they're gone forever!
