Pain of the Mother

In the heart of the wild, everything is beautiful and brutal, sweet and deadly. That is exactly what I wanted to capture in my artwork. The Spotted Tree Frog is on the brink of extinction for many reasons. In my painting, I am showing a helpless mother frog painfully watching the introduced invasive species from the pacific devour her eggs. I want to say that bringing species to places they aren’t native to is harmful to both ecosystems and animals. We need to stop our ways of destroying nature.
