My Great Glider

for the Greater Glider

Endangered

By Polly, age 6

I love gliders. I got a sugar glider toy for Christmas last year. This year my favourite is the white one because its fur looks very soft on its body, tail and ears. It is called a Southern Greater Glider. It hides in daytime and comes out at night to eat eucalyptus. Predators are powerful owls and feral cats. I wish it wasn’t endangered because I love them.
