Flecker’s crayfish has big, strong claws. It lives in rainforest streams around Mount Lewis and Mount Spurgeon in Queensland. It needs cool, clean water with lots of oxygen to live. It is in danger because its home can be affected by climate change, drought and bushfires. I used a black background and splashed paint to show ash, dry land and a world where life is disappearing. I wanted to show that Flecker’s crayfish is in danger and needs our help.
