Echoes of the Wetlands

I wanted to show the Bell frog as a small but important voice in nature. Its bright colours and delicate body stand out against the darker surroundings, making it feel as though it is calling out to us to protect its home. I used flowing shapes, layered colours and expressive brushstrokes to create a green environment. The frog’s song represents hope, but also a warning that wildlife can become silent when their habitats are damaged. Through this painting, I hope people will stop, listen and think about how we can protect frogs, wetlands and the natural world they depend on.
