Echidna's family

for the Kangaroo Island Echidna

Endangered

By Amelia, age 6

This is a spiky mum echidna and her eggs. She is hiding and keeping her babies safe. Echidnas live in the bush and need trees and grass to be happy. If we take care of nature, the echidna and her babies can grow big. I know echidnas have one egg, but I wanted to make a happy family picture. I love animals and want to protect them. I want echidnas to have safe homes, food, and babies. Wild animals are special. We should be kind to them and care for nature. Let’s be kind to wildlife and help them! I want all animals to have safe homes and lots of food.
