Dream’s Palette

My artwork shows two endangered species that we have to protect before they only exist as distant memories. They are the Spike Poison plant and the Arid Bronze Azure butterfly. I decided to draw the Spike Poison, also known as Gastrolobium glaucum, because it has bright, vivid colours that make it really noticeable. It makes me upset that this lovely plant is endangered. There are only about 400 mature plants left in the wild, and it’s terrible that such a beautiful flower could disappear. The Arid Bronze Azure butterfly has one-of-a-kind wing colours and patterns. It would be such a tragedy if this butterfly went extinct forever. Both species are disappearing because their natural homes are being destroyed. Luckily, it is not too late to save these special creatures. If we look after and preserve their habitats, we still have a good chance to help them survive.
