Daintree rainbowfish

Daintree rainbowfish is a small fish that lives mainly in small streams connected to Cooper Creek and Hutchinson Creek in the Daintree region. Its silver body and colourful fins are very beautiful. I usually enjoy drawing reptiles, so drawing a smooth and delicate fish was a new challenge for me. However, I wanted to use my artwork to let people know that the Daintree rainbowfish is also critically endangered. Because it lives in shallow, flowing streams with clear water and aquatic plants, I wanted to show the water as clear, calm and full of life. I hope that through my artwork, and the artworks of many other young artists, we can help protect the safety of animals and plants and their homes.
