for the Southern Right Whale

Endangered

Group entry · Ages 5–7

Our two Prep/1 classes learned about the meaning of 'threatened' and the different levels like 'endangered' and 'vulnerable'. We decided that we do not want ANY of Australia's threatened species to become extinct like the dinosaurs. We each chose a species to contribute to this collaborative map. We want everyone who passes our classrooms and sees it to think about what they could do to help protect these amazing creatures. They all deserve a chance and need different things from us to survive.
