A Home Worth Saving

for the Mary River Turtle

Critically Endangered

Turtles are my favourite animals, so I wanted to draw a Murray River turtle. I learned that it is threatened and needs our help. I drew it swimming peacefully because I hope it can always have a clean and safe river to live in. I want people to know that even one small turtle is important. If everyone looks after rivers and doesn't pollute them, these turtles can survive. I hope when people see my picture they will love this turtle as much as I do and help protect its home.
