A future without turtles?

My favourite animal is the sea turtle. I love it so much because it is very cute and interesting. But right now, sea turtles are in danger of dying out because of human activities and climate change. Firstly, rising temperatures heat the nesting sand, causing almost all baby turtles to hatch as females, which makes breeding very difficult. Next, bright coastal lights confuse hatchlings as they try to find the ocean. Dams and dirty water also destroy their river habitats. Finally, sea turtles face constant threats from wild predators, such as foxes that eat their eggs, fishing nets that accidentally drown them, and floating plastic that they mistake for food. If we don't act now, the last of these magnificent creatures could disappear forever.
