This artwork shows a dugong trapped inside a plastic bottle filled with clean water because the surrounding ocean has become too polluted to survive in. Plastic waste, toxic pollution, and industrial smoke have destroyed its natural home, leaving only a small refuge. The colourful coral inside the bottle symbolises the healthy ocean that marine life deserves, while the dark background reflects environmental decline.
