A Flight to a Safer Forest

I chose the endangered greater glider because it is a beautiful Australian animal that needs our help. In my artwork, a greater glider flies under the moonlight, leaving a damaged part of the forest and searching for a safe home. Greater gliders need old eucalyptus trees for food and tree hollows for shelter. When forests are cleared or destroyed by bushfires, they lose their homes and may struggle to survive. I painted the healthy plants, flowing creek and bright moon to show hope. If we protect old trees, restore damaged forests and care for nature, greater gliders can continue their magical night-time flights for generations to come. My artwork shows that there is still hope. By protecting forests and planting native trees, we can give greater gliders a safe home and a brighter future.
